Heavy Duty Mounting Pedestal Foundation

A heavy duty mounting pedestal foundation is a load-bearing base plate that anchors equipment to the floor and keeps its mounting surface flat under rated weight. It is cut from thick SPCC plate, anti-slip checkered plate, SUS304 or cast-steel-composite sheet, with anti-slip wear-resistant material options. Standard thickness is 2.0/2.5/3.0/4.0 mm, with 5-8 mm plates for heavy bearing pedestals. Under rated load the mounting surface holds permanent deformation to <=0.2 mm, and anti-tip structure is reinforced as required. Forms include flat plates, flanged-edge bases, foot-anchored bases and shock-pad pocket bases, with leveling-bolt holes fitted as standard. The load surface stays flat to <=0.15 mm per 100 mm, and anti-slip checkered stamping, wear-resistant powder coating or galvanizing protect the base; integrated cable troughs, counterweight cavities and locating stops can be added to the drawing. The leveling-bolt travel is set to the floor variation the equipment will see, and anti-tip structure is reinforced where tall or off-center loads are expected.

A pedestal is bought on its load-bearing flatness - the buyer needs equipment to sit level without the base bending under weight. Because the base is built to the customer's load rating with thicker plate where the load path runs, the <=0.15 mm flatness and <=0.2 mm permanent-deformation figures hold under rated load, so leveling-bolt adjustments settle once rather than needing constant re-shimming.
