The Equipment Sheet Metal Enclosure functions as a protective housing for industrial and electronic equipment, providing both structural support and internal mounting integration.
The enclosure is produced using laser cutting, bending, riveting, or welding processes, depending on structural requirements. One key feature is the use of flanged and tapped holes inside the enclosure, allowing screws to be directly fastened into the structure without requiring separate nuts. This reduces assembly steps and improves installation efficiency.
Internal structures can include integrated mounting posts and snap-in slots formed during stamping. These features are designed as one-piece structures to prevent loosening over long-term use. In one application for an instrument manufacturer, internal locating posts and PCB card slots were added to ensure circuit boards could be installed directly without adjustment or alignment issues.
Cable outlets, ventilation openings, and instrument mounting interfaces are all manufactured according to customer drawings. Hole distance tolerance is controlled within ±0.1 mm, ensuring accurate alignment during assembly.

Material Selection and Environmental Protection
Material options include SPCC DC01/DC03 deep-drawn steel, SGCC galvanized steel, and SUS304 stainless steel for outdoor or high-corrosion environments. Standard material thickness ranges from 1.0 mm to 2.0 mm, with lightweight enclosures available at 0.8 mm and heavy-duty versions up to 4.0 mm.
Surface treatment options include epoxy powder coating and electrophoretic coating. Standard salt spray resistance is 120 hours, with extended performance up to 240 hours available for humid or corrosive environments.
A silicone sealing strip groove is included as a standard structural feature. The base sealing rating is IP53, with upgrade options available up to IP67 depending on application requirements.
Enclosure structures, including split designs and removable side panels, can be fully customized according to installation needs and maintenance requirements.
Sample production time is typically 3–5 days for standard structures and 5–10 days for complex assemblies.
